Burner Exercises And Towers #

Once you earn enough XP from playing the game, you’ll unlock two new exercises!  These exercises are different from the normal Direct Damage ones and open up a whole new way to attack and defend.  We call them Burners.

Burners are exercises that build a powerful Tower with every rep. After you complete a set, this Tower is available for you to deploy to the Battlefield. You can’t just choose these exercises like you do with the others. They must be unlocked first. Do enough reps of one Element and the Burner will be available to use.  Let’s look at an example:

 

Bicep Curls / Tesla Coil Tower #

Bicep Curls are an Air Element exercise that builds a Tesla Coil Tower. When you start a battle, the Exercise orb will not be available.

Once you perform 75 reps of Air exercises, the Bicep Curl orb will show up. You can now choose to do this exercise when you are ready.

To do this exercise, put the Bicep Curl orb in the machine hopper like you would with other exercise orbs.

When the machine has been configured, hit the Activate button. Stand on the blue feet, face the machine, and grab the handles with the appropriately colored hands.

At this point, you can perform the Bicep Curl exercise. Every rep that you do will add health (HP) to the Tesla Coil Tower you are building. The more reps you do, the more HP your tower will have. The first few reps add a small amount of HP but as you continue, the HP addition grows!

We call these exercises Burners because the goal is for you to do 20 reps!  We keep the resistance a little lower than on other exercises so you can “feel the burn” and get a full 20 reps every time. Push hard and get that 20th rep and the resistance will go up for your next workout.

 

Your performance with Bicep Curls will be tracked and can be viewed in the app.

As you get stronger, your Tesla Coil Tower will move up in Level. The higher the Level, the more damage your Tesla Tower will do with every zap!

 

Once you have built your Tower by completing your set of Bicep Curls, it will become available for you to deploy to the battlefield. You can deploy it immediately or wait until a more strategic time.

To deploy it, choose it from the Champion table and put it in the hopper on the front of the platform. Slice and punch through the short pattern and then point to where you want it to go, just like you would with a Champion.

Tesla Coil Tower Details #

 

The Tesla Coil is an Air Element tower. That means it is strong against Water enemies and will do 2x damage to them. But watch out for Fire attacks because they will do 2x damage to it!  Tesla Coils also target other Towers but can not reach Gates or Crystals.

The Tesla Coil will shoot electrical bolts to enemies that get close to it. The higher your Tesla Coil card level, the more damage it will do with each shot. Build your Bicep Curl strength to level up.

 

Towers do not get removed between rounds. Once a Tower gets placed on the field, it will stay there until it is destroyed or the battle ends. Place them strategically to gain an advantage!

Tricep Pushdowns / Flame Tower #

 

Tricep Pushdowns are a Flame Element exercise that builds a Flame Tower. When you start a battle, the Exercise orb will not be available.

Once you perform 75 reps of Fire exercises, the Tricep Pushdown orb will show up. You can now choose to do this exercise when you are ready.

To do this exercise, put the Tricep Pushdown orb in the machine hopper like you would with other exercise orbs.

When the machine has been configured, hit the Activate button. Stand on the blue feet, face the machine, and grab the handles with the appropriately colored hands.

Flame Tower Details #

 

The Flame Tower is a Fire Element tower. That means it is strong against Air enemies and will do 2x damage to them. But watch out for Water attacks because they will do 2x damage to it!  Flame Towers also target other Towers but can not reach Gates or Crystals.

The Flame Tower uses its flamethrower to attack any enemies that get close to it. The higher your Flame Tower card level, the more damage it will do with each shot. Build your Tricep Pushdown strength to level up.

Towers do not get removed between rounds. Once a Tower gets placed on the field, it will stay there until it is destroyed or the battle ends. Place them strategically to gain an advantage!
